URBANELY OUTDOOR ALBERTO GUARDIANI

PREVIEW AND RUMORS ALBERTO GUARDIANI FALL/WINTER 2018-19

Florence, 10 January 2018. The Winter that Alberto Guardiani has envisaged for men in the 2018-19 season is based on a search for the season's iconic colours: this year it is quite focussed on the north, in Iceland. The design inspiration shared by Guardiani's Fall/Winter footwear collection is this land's naturalistic palette, spontaneous textures and vivid colours: mélange wool and flubbed fabrics which retrace the surfaces of long rocky expanses, petroleum blue suede and light soles, almost as if they were carved in underground ice caves, leathers such as split leather and suede in terre brulée, green and ice paired with resin details with wood finishing, thereby redesigning an abstract Tundra; it all ends with touches of bright red, like the wood of the most fairy-tale-like Turf Houses or the magma of the volcanoes to the East. Patwin is the season's new sneaker, embodying both city spirit and Icelandic Allure. Distinguished for its semi-running bottom with a raised tread, all its variants have the iconic logos: ""brace"" and ""G"" embroidered in contrasting colours that always match the lacing. Another leitmotif is the metal hook of the last loops, which reveals all the outdoor inspiration in this sneaker.
The ocean blue version in nubuck, leather and waterproof fabric is a must have, with tweed details and a running bottom elaborated with micro-splashes of rock-effect paint.
The inspiration also lives in Fresno, the sneaker which stands out for its background that fades from ultramarine blue to white, inspired by the colours of the eternal glaciers: here it is presented in blue suede, wool-effect fabric and with burgundy details.
Another new item with a decidedly street flavour is Italis, the new sneaker with a box bottom and contrasting spoiler, as always in the same colour as the embroidered ""G"" on the side. The sneaker is also offered in an ultra-elegant, trendy version in scorched earth-coloured split leather with contrasting black laces.
The Nordic inspiration is quite clear in the Forrest hiking boots, which include walking shoe details such as metal loops, lanyards and semi-panama rubber bottoms, combined with leather, rubberised calfskin and camouflage fabric coloured in different shades of black, lined in ton-sur-ton sheepskin. The perfect combination of active inspiration and dandy spirit: Urbanely Outdoor.

Lastly, the iconic running-inspired sneakers ONESOUL, which can be identified by the strap with a metallic logo and the logoed tread: they are perfect shoes any day, any time, both with a suit at the office or out for a drink, or for the weekend with a pair of jeans. In FW18 they are proposed in suede and leather, but also in technical fabrics and mesh textures which render the spoiler detail on the back precious, colouring it with a wood-effect printed film.
For this winter, ONESOUL has also taken on the unprecedented form of ahiking concept boot: a hybrid between a sneaker and a trekking boot with a side strap for closure and loops without laces, made of split leather and lined in white sheepskin with a contrasting spoiler.
An innovative shoe that combines the dynamic lines of sneakers and virtuous combinations of leather and colours, thus inaugurating a new chapter ofathluxury.
