The Italian brand Alberto Guardiani has represented excellence in Italian footwear for over 35 years, creating footwear combining advanced know-how with an innate vocation for experimentation.
Meticolous attention to detail, vanguard finishing and cutting-edge combination of colours and materials are the signature of Alberto Guardiani and its high-end accessories, which are always sophisticated, dynamic, with a touch of craftmanship.
Founded in 1947 in the medieval city of Fermo (Marche), an area known for Italian footwear, by cousins Luigi and Dino Guardiani under the name CENTAURO,
the company started out as a small factory-workshop specialising in producing men's formal shoes.
The business began to grow in the following decades, but it only took a true leap forward with the arrival of the second generation in 1972.
Thanks to the entrepreneurial and stylistic creativity of Alberto Guardiani, the brand truly established itself on the Italian and international footwear scene under the name ALBERTO GUARDIANI in 1981, the same year in which it launched its first advertising campaign.
THE MAN BEHIND THE STORY
Alberto Guardiani was born in 1952; he inherited his passion for footwear directly from his father Dino.
As a bon vivant fond of music and the sea, of freedom and independence, Alberto Guardiani took up the reins of the company at the young age of 20 following the untimely death of his father, adding his unmistakable style to the collections.
Simultaneously the creative soul and President of Nuova Centauro Srl, the parent company of the ALBERTO GUARDIANI brand, he personally oversees every aspect of the business, from stylistic creation to development, production and distribution. He is married to Rossella Beato, who is also his right arm and the company's Sales Director; they have 3 daughters, Guya, Rubina and Serena, who work at different levels in the company.
